Ward no. 12, Bhimtar is formed by combining wards 2 - 8 of the former Bhimtar VDC. So, this ward is also known as Bhimtar as well. The total area is 7.33 square kilometres.
The eastern border is connected with ward no. 8, 9 & 10. And, the western boundary is associated with Kavre District. Similarly, the northern & southern borders are connected with ward no. 7 & ward no. 11 of Indrawati.
