Bhimtar was the former VDC of Sindhupalchowk District. Now, this VDC is reformed as ward no. 11 & 12 of Indrawati Rural Municipality. Ward no. 11 is formed by combining ward no. 1 & 9 of former Bhimtar VDC. The total area of this ward is 3.53 Square Kilometers.
The eastern border is connected with ward no. 10. The western boundary is associated with ward no. 12. Similarly, the northern & southern borders are connected with ward no. 12 & Kavre respectively.
