Kalinchok

Kalinchok is a popular tourist destination in the Kalinchok Rural Municipality of Dolakh district. It is just about 150 kilometres northeast of Kathmandu. How to go to Kalinchowk?

Kalinchowk is just about 150 kilometres from Kathmandu. You can take public transportation like bus, van etc. You can take this vehicle from Jadibuti, Kathmandu. Similarly, you can also go in private vehicles. It takes about 6-7 hours from Kathmandu. If you are going to Kalinchok, you should go via Araniko highway. You should take a turn from Khadichaur towards Dolakha Highway.

Route: Kathmandu - Dhulikhel - Panchkhal - Dolalghat - Khadichaur - Mude - Charikot - Kuri village 

Season

The best season to visit Kalinchok is during autumn (September-November) and spring (March-May). In this season, you can explore the real beauty of Kalinchok. At that time, nature shows its unique form. The weather is clear and good. If you are crazy about snow experience, you can go here during the winter  (December-February) season.
