Kalinchok Rural Municipality

Kalinchok is one of the rural municipalities in Dolakha district, Bagmati, Nepal. This rural municipality is a geographical and administrative unit established by sub-section (3) of Article 295 of the Constitution of Nepal. 

 During the state structure after the new constitution, i.e. during the implementation of federalism, based on the information published in the gazette by the Government of Nepal on the 27th of Falgun 2073, this rural municipality was established by adjusting the former Kalinchok, Lapilang, Babare, Sunkhani, Lamidanda, & Sundrawati village development committees. 

The total area of Kalinchok is 132.49 square kilometres. Similarly, there are nine ward offices in this rural municipality. This rural municipality is named after Kalinchok Bhagwati, a famous religious and tourist place in Dolakha district. 

The eastern border of Kalinchok is connected with Gaurishankhar rural municipality. Sindhupalchok is in the west part of Kalinchok. Similarly, the northern border is connected with Bigu rural municipality. , Bhimeshwor Municipality is in the southern part of Kalinchok.
