Madhyapur Thimi Municipality

Madhyapur Thimi Municipality is located in the Bhaktapur of Bagmati Pradesh, Nepal. This municipality was formed on the 14th of Chaitra 2053 by merging the former Bode, Nagesh, Chapacho, Balkumari and Lokantali Village Development Committees in Bhaktapur District. Later, During the state structure after the new constitution, i.e. during the implementation of federalism, based on the information published in the gazette by the Government of Nepal on the 27th of Falgun 2073, this municipality was divided into 9 ward offices. 

The eastern border is connected with the Bhaktapur Municipality & Changu Narayan Municipality. Kathmandu Metro is on the western border of this municipality. Similarly, the northern border is connected with Kageshwor Manahar Municipality and the southern border is connected with Suryabinayak & Mahalaxmi Municipality.
