Pangtang is the village of Sindhupalchowk. Before the state restructuring, This was the VDC with a total of 9 wards. Now, This VDC has changed to ward no. 4 of Jugal Rural Municipality. This ward lies in Representative Constituency Region No. 1 and Provincial Assembly Constituency No. 1(B) of Sindhupalchowk.
The eastern border of Pangtang is connected with Hagam village and Bhotekoshi Rural. And, the western border is connected with Goche. Similarly, the northern and southern borders are connected with Gumba and Baramchi respectively.
