Kalika is one of the former village development committees of Sindhupalchowk. Kalika Village Development Committee was included in Ward No. 3 of Sunkoshi Rural Municipality during the state restructuring and federalization implementation. Wards 1-9 of the former Kalika VDC, now fall under Ward No. 3 of Sunkoshi.
The eastern border of Kalika is connected with Sunkhani and Chokati. And, the western border is connected with Chautara Sangachowkgadhi Municipality. Similarly, the northern and southern borders are connected with Yamuna Danda and Thokarpa respectively.
