Dhuskun is one of the former village development committees of Sindhupalchowk. In this VDC, there were 9 wards. After the state restructuring, Dhuskun VDC had included in Tripurasundari Rural Municipality as ward no.3.
Occupying 17.1% of the total area of Tripura Sundari Rural Municipality, Dhukun has a total area of 16.15 square km. Sunkoshi River flows through this ward. Middle and small-capacity hydropower projects are operating here.
Manakamana Temple, Saddheshwar Mahadareva Temple, Kshama Devi Temple, Chumi Petala Monastery, Emmanuel Church etc are the religious places of this ward.Geographically, Dhuskun spreads in hilly regions.
The eastern border of Dhuskun is connected with Chokati. And, the western boundary is secured with Tekanpur village and Balephi Rural Municipality. Similarly, the northern and southern borders are connected with Bahrabise Municipality and Piskar village respectively.
