Ward No. 2, Jaisi Gaun

Wards 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 of the former Bhotechaur Village Development Committee are included under Ward No. 2 of Sindhupalchok Melamchi Municipality. The office of this ward is in Jaisigaun.

The total area of ​​this ward is 4.44 square kilometres. The eastern border of this ward is connected with Bhotechour (Ward No. 1) and the western edge with Haibung (Ward No. 3). Its north and south borders are respectively connected with Thakani and Shivpuri National Nikunj or Mulkharka (Gokarneshwar). This ward falls under Constituency No. 2 of Sindhupalchok district.

The famous Bhotechaur tea garden is in this ward. So this is “Mini Ilam”. Commercial tea cultivation has been done here at a close distance from the capital of Nepal.
