Early Life and Growth Challenges

Rajan Adhikari's family moved to the Terai region when he was just three years old, settling in Prakashpur, where he spent most of his childhood. His rapid growth was clear early on, and by the age of 12, he was already 6 feet tall. What seemed amazing to many became a health concern, as Rajan kept growing due to a hormonal problem. He had to go through 25 surgeries to deal with the health issues caused by his height.

Even after the surgeries, Rajan’s height kept increasing, making everyday life harder. Simple things like finding clothes and shoes that fit became a big challenge, and his health suffered. His condition made it difficult for him to move around, and although he is considered disabled, he is frustrated by the lack of support and services from the Nepal government.

Despite his health issues, Rajan has started a small business and runs an Agro farm in Ithari-5. He also founded the Rajan Adhikari Foundation, which supports people with disabilities and provides medical assistance, including ambulance services.

Rajan Adhikari was influenced by both family and social pressures. He got married at the young age of 16 due to his family's situation.
