How to Apply for Nepal's National ID Card?
National ID Card is the digital identity card. The federal government provides this ID card to their citizen. It is the compulsory ID card for every governmental & non-governmental work in Nepal.
The government had deployed its manpower to the ward to collect the details of the National Identity Card. Now you can apply for a national identity card from all 77 district administration offices of Nepal. Similarly, the collection of details for national identity cards is being done from 1 border administration office, and 54 Area administration offices.

- Then, the NID Pre-Enrollment System open

- Click to log in for Individual & Log in with your phone number
- Then, fill in all your contact, personal and family details.
- Please! Double-check the fillup details
- Then, You should select the place for a biometrics appointment. (Select the nearest office)
- After that, You should visit to District Administration Office/ Other Office with the required documents
- In the case of Non-permanent individuals of Kathmandu Valley living in the valley: You should go to Narayanhiti Durbar Office of the NID Card Department
- In the case of a permanent resident of Kathmandu Valley: You should go to the District Administration Office.
Apply for NID (Rastriya Parichaya Patra) Via Offline
You can give an application for NID via Offline. If you have enough time, you can directly go to the District Administration Office of your district. But, you should carry all the required documents. Similarly, If you live in Kathmandu valley (Non-resident of the valley), You can go Narayanhiti Durbar Office of NID. Additionally, If you are from Kathmandu Municipality, you should go Rastriya Sabha Griha Office.
What are the Required Documents for National ID Card
