Ward No. 3, Bhattedada

Bhattedada is the ward no. 3 of Bagmati Gaupalika, Lalitpur. It was the former Village Development Committee of Lalitpur. In 2073, these VDCs and other VD merged and formed Bagmati Rural Municipality. 

Bagmati Rural Municipality Ward No. 3 Bhattadanda is located about 30 km south of Lagankhel, the headquarters of Lalitpur district. About 20 km of the Kanti Lokpath road is located in the middle of this ward.

In the east of this ward, Konjoshom Rural Municipality exists. The western border is connected with Malta (Ward No. 2). Similarly, the northern part is shared with Godawari Municipality. And the southern border is associated with Pyutar and Ikudol. The office of Bagmati Rural Municipality is located in Bhattadanda of this ward. In terms of tourism, this ward has many places, including the famous Nepal Civil Aviation Authority Radar Station, Siddheshwor Mahadev, Mahakali Devi Temple, etc. The road network has been expanded to all the residential areas of this ward. There are 1 secondary school, 7 basic schools, 1 health post, 1 police post, 1 bank, 17 cooperative organizations in the ward. Khanikhola Hydro Power is generating 6 megawatts of electricity. This village is inhabited by a rural community and is predominantly populated by Tamang, Brahmin, Kshetri and Dalit castes. The main occupations of the people living in this village are agriculture, animal husbandry and foreign employment.
