Roshi Rural Municipality

Roshi Rural Municipality is one of the 13 local governments in Kavre district. During the state structure after the new constitution, i.e. during the implementation of federalism, based on the information published in the gazette by the Government of Nepal on the 27th of Falgun 2073, this rural municipality was established by adjusting the former Khaharepagu, Shikharambot, Mahadevtar, Sisakhani, Sipali Chilaune, Katunje Besi, Kharpachok, Mangaltar, Walting, & Bhimkhori village development committees. 

This rural municipality is named after Roshi Khola. There are 12 ward offices. According to the National Census, there are 23790 people in the total population. Sunkoshi Rural Municipality (Sindhuli) is located east of Roshi Rural Municipality. Similarly, Namobuddha Municipality and Timal Rural Municipality are located west of this municipality. Similarly, there are Mahabharat and Bethanchok rural municipalities in the south of Roshi rural municipality.
