During the state structure after the new constitution, i.e. during the implementation of federalism, based on the information published in the gazette by the Government of Nepal on the 27th of Falgun 2073, this rural municipality was established by adjusting the former Gokule, Foksingtar, Budhakani, Bankhuchaur, & Ghartichhap village development committees.
