Radio Namobuddha 106.7 MHz is the first community-based radio station in the Kavre district. It is conducted by the non-profit social organization Jugal Association Nepal (JAN). It started receiving broadcasting permission on 2063 Ashoj 12 from the Ministry of Information and Communication, Nepal. Radio Namobuddha had begun its regular broadcasting from 2064 Ashoj 12.

A 100-watt radio station on FM.106.7 MHz typically broadcasts its programs for 13 hours a day, from 5 am to 11 am and from 3 pm to 10 pm. determined to change a limited, traditional understanding by raising knowledge of issues related to human rights, education, health, agriculture, local development, environment, and other areas such as social inclusion and ethnic empowerment. The shows that Radio Namobuddha produces and presents are done so "on-air."
