Baiteshwor Rural Municipality

Baiteshwor is one of the rural municipalities in Dolakha among seven rural municipalities. This rural municipality was established under sub-section (3) of Article 295 of the Constitution of Nepal. During the state structure after the new constitution, i.e. during the implementation of federalism, based on the information published in the gazette by the Government of Nepal on the 27th of Falgun 2073, this rural municipality was established by adjusting the former Kshatrapa, Namdu, Kaber, Gairimundi, & Mirge village development committees.

There are 8 ward offices in Baiteshwor Gaupalika. The total area of  Baiteshwor is 80.41 square kilometres. 17896 is the total population in Baiteshwor. The literacy rate is 72.8%. 

The eastern border of Baiteshwor is connected with Jiri Municipality. Similarly, the western border is connected with Bhimeshwor Municipality. Gaurishankar Gaupalika and Kalinchok are in the northern part of this rural municipality. Tamakoshi Rural Municipality is in the southern part of Baiteshwor. Mainapokjhari, Namdu etc are the major cities of this rural municipality.
