College Location

Nepal Engineering College expands its location over the Kathmandu Valley. The main building of the college is located in Changu Narayan, Bhaktapur. The bachelor-level classes are conducted at the main campus building. For the master level or Postgraduate Studies, the Campus has a separate building at Prayag Pokhari, Lalitpur. In addition, the college offers a specialised course of B.E. Civil for Diploma Holders (NEC-BDH) at Satdobato, Lalitpur.

Scholarship Scheme at Nepal Engineering College

NEC is a non-profit & non-government engineering college in Nepal. It offers various scholarship schemes for its students. Here are the various types of scholarships in NEC. 

• Scholarships for Bachelor-level Programs by Pokhara University: A complete scholarship is available to 10% of students at Nepal Engineering College who are referred by Pokhara University. All fees are exempt for this type of scholarship (except for the cost of the surveying and geology camps). 
• Entrance Toper Full Scholarship: Nepal Engineering College provides a full scholarship to the entrance exam topper.
• Provincial Scholarship: Under this Scheme, One Student gets a scholarship from each province. These students should pass SEE from Community or Public Schools & should pass the entrance exam also.
• Founder Members’ Scholarship: When an applicant passes the entrance exam and receives a recommendation from the founder members, NEC offers two full scholarships.
• Neighbourhood Scholarship: Neighbourhood scholarships are given to Changunarayan's Wards 1, 2, 3, and 4 by NEC. Depending on the student's nET rank, this programme awards one full scholarship and two partial scholarships (50 per cent of the tuition fee) for a variety of programmes to each neighbourhood ward.
  Similar to this, Kageswori Manohara Municipality's Wards 6 and 7 are awarded one full scholarship and two half scholarships (worth 50% of the tuition cost). Applicants must turn in a letter of recommendation from their ward office to the college before admission to be considered for this award.
• NEC-Social Responsibility Scholarship: Nepal Engineering College awards Five or equivalent applicants who pass the nET entrance exam and receive a recommendation from Changunarayan Municipality.
