Ward No. 7, Mahakal
Helambu Rural Municipality ward number 7 is Mahakal. Ward No. 6, 7, 8, and 9 of former Ichok VDC are now Ward 7 of Helambu Rural Municipality. The boundary of this ward is Helambu Ward No. 2 and 3 in the East and Nuwakot District in the West, Ward No. 6 in the North, and Ward No. 4 and 5 in the South. According to the household survey of the rural municipality in the year 2075, it has been shown that there is a total population of 3349 (females 1715 and males 1634) in this ward. Sherpa, Tamang, and Newar communities live in this ward. Since most of them have left for business, education, and employment, only children and old people are in the villages. People here celebrate Dashain, Tihar, Nagpanchami, Chaite Dashain, Lhosar, Teej, Janaipurnima, and other festivals.
