Nawalpur is the main bazar of Indrawati Rural Municipality, Sindhupalchowk. It lies under ward no.4. This ward is the headquarters of Indrawati Rural Municipality. The former Nawalpur VDC is developed as ward no. 4 of Indrawati.
The eastern border of Nawalpur is connected with ward no. 1 & 2. And, the western border is connected with Melamchi Municipality. Similarly, the northern & southern borders are connected with Ward No. 1 / Melamchi Municipality and Ward No. 5/6/Melamchi.
