Ward No. 10, Shikharapur

Shikharapur is located in Ward No. 10 of Melamchi Municipality. Its total area is 9.70 square kilometres. Shikharpur Village Development Committee was included in Melamchi Municipality in 2071. This ward was formed by combining wards No. 12 and 13 of the former Melamchi municipality. Formerly Ward 12 and 13 of Melamchi Municipality included Shikharpur 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and Jamire Ward No. 2.

The eastern border of Shikharapur is connected with Indrawati Rural Municipality. And, the western boundary is associated with Melamchi and Bansbari. Similarly, The northern and southern borders are connected with Jymire / Duwachaur and Indrawati Rural Municipalityrespectively.
