Jalbire is the ward no.1 office of Balephi Rural Municipality, Sindhupalchowk. This is the former Jalbire Village Development Community. It had 9 wards. But, these VDc & all wards are converted into ward no. 1 of Balephi. According to National Census 2021 (2078), the total population of this ward is 2482.
The eastern border of Jalbire is connected with Jugal Rural Municipality. And, the western border is connected with Chautara Sangachowk Gadhi. Similarly, the northern & southern borders are connected with Jugal Rural municipality & Ward no. 2 respectively.
