The total distance of this route is approximately 60 kilometres when taking the Sankhu road. Starting from Kathmandu, the first stop is Bahunepati. To reach Bahunepati, you need to cross a new bridge constructed over the Indrawati River. This bridge became necessary as there is no longer a bridge in Melamchi due to the devastating flood that occurred last year, in the year 2078 of the Nepali calendar. The distance from Kathmandu to Bahunepati is not specified.
