During the monsoon season, Blyangje Waterfall turns into a powerful, roaring display of nature’s beauty. There are three big waterfalls along the road, but this one stands out as the “Crown of the Waterfalls” due to its sheer size and majestic flow. The water is cold, crystal clear, and surrounded by a dense, vibrant green jungle that feels like a magical world of its own. You can see two waterfalls in one frame. This waterfall is at its most beautiful during the monsoon season. During the monsoon, the waterfall is so powerful that you can't even get close to it. The spray of water will get you wet. You can even plan a one-day trip from Kathmandu, but if you want to enjoy the area more peacefully, staying overnight in nearby villages is a great idea.

How to Reach Blyangje Waterfall?

There are multiple choices to go to the Blyangje waterfall. There are many roads, ways to reach here. You can find the road through Google Maps. But we recommend that you ask locals for the best road and hiking trails. 

  •  Hiking Route: The most adventurous way to get there is by hiking from Chanauti, which takes around 4.5 hours (about 13 km from the Chanauti Bridge). The hike is tough but incredibly rewarding.
  •  By Road: The road is gravelled and off-road, so powerful vehicles are recommended, especially during the monsoon. It's about a 1.5–2.5-hour drive from Melamchi Bazaar.
  •  From Kutumsang: If you're trekking the Helambu Circuit, it’s just a 30-minute walk east from Kutumsang village.
