Route to Bhairav Kunda
The journey begins in Kathmandu, and the first leg of the trip takes you through the bustling city streets to reach Barabishe, covering a distance of 90 kilometres on a well-paved road, which takes approximately 3 hours. From Barabishe, the path continues towards Daklang, spanning 16 kilometres, where the weather is fair and the road conditions are decent, allowing for a quick 30-minute drive. Next, you embark on a 25-kilometre off-road adventure from Daklang to Listi-Bagam, which takes around 1.5 hours to navigate through the rugged terrain. The journey continues as you traverse a new road track for 10 kilometres from Bagam to Chokarmokar, encountering technical off-road challenges along the way, but completing the stretch in about 1 hour. From Chokarmokar, you leave the vehicle behind and embark on a 1-hour hike to Nagdhunga, finally reaching the picturesque Bhairabkunda. Alternatively, if you choose to go directly from Kathmandu to Chokarmokar, it takes approximately 6 hours of riding. From Chokarmokar, it is another 1-hour hike to reach Bhairabkunda.
