Sindhu Purana Gaun Secondary School was established on 5th Baisakh 2006( April 17, 1949). This school is currently located in Ward No. 5 of Melamchi Municipality, Sindhukot. This school is located about 29 km northeast of the capital of Nepal. Similarly, this school is about 29 km west of Sindhupalchok district headquarters Chautara.

This school, which was established as a language school in 2006, has passed through primary, and lower secondary and now has succeeded in reaching the secondary level. This school has been operating up to class 12 with affiliation from the National Examination Board. This educational institution has been providing excellent and quality education in this field for a long time.

History

Shree Sindhu Purana Gaun Secondary School conducted classes 1-3 at the primary level in the year 2030 (1973). Similarly, this school had conducted lower secondary level classes since 2033 July 4th (July 19, 1976). On December 7, 2037 (December 22, 1981), it received approval for conducting secondary-level classes from the District Education Office, Sindhupalchok. Since 2062 June 23 (July 7, 2005), this school has started teaching up to class 12.
