Dinesh Ramji Memorial Polytechnic Institute is a young technical and vocational training institute that sits in Chautara Sangachowkgadi Municipality Ward 5, Sindhupalchowk's headquarters. Founded in 2019 (2076 BS in the Nepali calendar) under the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), it equips surrounding area residents with the skills they need to thrive.

Dinesh Ramji is a technical educational institution established in the Sindhupalchok district. It is affiliated to CTEVT.

We help Nepal's economy grow by training skilled workers in technical fields.

We teach people practical skills in engineering, agriculture, forestry, and healthcare at basic and intermediate levels.

Entry Criteria:
Should be in the merit list of entrance exams conducted by the CTEVT examination board.

Requirement For Entrance (Engineering):

• Minimum "C" grade in Mathematics & Science and minimum "D+" in English Subject in SEE Exam before 2078 SEE.
• Minimum "C" grade in Mathematics & Science and minimum "D" in another subject in SEE Exam after 2078 SEE.
  OR,
  -68.33% in respective TSLC programs.OR,
  -Passed in SLC Exa of Non-Grading Exam.

Courses Offered

Dinesh Ramji Memorial Polytechnic Institute offers majorly two types of courses. That is Diploma in IT & Civil Engineering for 3 years. All about these courses are explained below:

1) Diploma in Information Technology: (3 Years)

•  A diploma in Information Technology (DIT) extends for three years and each year is divided into two semesters of six months.
• DIT aims to produce a middle-level technical workforce necessary for different IT-related sectors.
• The curriculum of the first and second semesters includes compulsory subjects like; physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, & Nepalu whereas third semesters onwards core subjects of IT are included.
• English and Nepali subjects are included to develop communicative and writing skills which will be included at the time of job performance.
• Core IT subjects make IT students competent IT technicians.

2) Diploma in Civil Engineering: (3 Years)

• A diploma in Civil Engineering (DCE) extends for three years and each year is divided into two semesters of six months.
• DCE aims to produce a middle-level technical workforce necessary for different civil-related sectors.
