Bhumlu is the rural municpality of Kavre district, Bagmati province, Nepal. During the state structure after the new constitution, i.e. during the implementation of federalism, based on the information published in the gazette by the Government of Nepal on the 27th of Falgun 2073, this rural municipality was established by adjusting the former Saping, Simthali, Bekhasimle, Chauwas, Salle Bhumlu, KOlati Bhumlu, Falate, Bhumlu Tar, Dolalghat, Gyamdi (5,7,8,9) village development committees.
Geographically, Bhumlu rural municipality is spread from 27˚41.31 latitude to 27˚36.04 north latitude and 85˚39.07 to 85˚46.51 east longitude. To the east of this village is Chauri Deurali village. Similarly, Mandandeupur municipality and Chautara Sangachok Gadhi municipality of Sindhupalchok district are located in the west. Sunkoshi village of Sindhupalchok district is to the north of this village and Pachkhaal municipality to the south.
