Ward No. 5, Hadigaun

The ward office of ward no. 5 of Kathmandu MetropolitanCity is located in Hadigaun. It is one of the oldest settlements in the city, with roots going back to the Licchhavi and even Kirat periods. The area is known for its ancient temples like Tundal Devi and Krishna Mandir, as well as traditional stone water taps and ponds. Hadigaun is famous for its unique festival called “Kahi Nabhako Jatra,” where people carry chariots without wheels through the streets. It is a lively place where culture, religion, and community life come together. The eastern border of Hadigau is connected with ward no. 7. The western border is connected with ward no. 2 and 1. Similarly, the northern border is shared with ward no. 4 and southern border is shared iwth ward no. 30.
