The smallest unit in local governance is called a ward. Wards can be considered as a place where directly elected people's representatives can interact directly with the people. The ward's responsibility is to organise the several government-provided amenities and other services that the public uses.
Bardiya has eight local levels with a total of seventy-five wards. A brief overview of the wards for which we have data is provided here. We will provide you with an update regarding the remaining wards' introductions later.
