Badhaiyatal Rural Municipality

Badhaiyatal Rural Municipality is the local level (local government) located in the Bardia district under the Lumbini province of Nepal. It was established in the year 2074 BS. During the state structure after the new constitution, i.e. during the implementation of federalism, based on the information published in the gazette by the Government of Nepal on the 27th of Falgun 2073, this rural municipality was established by adjusting the former Jamuni, Sorhawa, Maina Pokhar and Kalika village development committees. 

Spread over a total area of ​​115.19 square kilometres, there are only 9 wards in this rural municipality. The eastern border of Badhiayatal rural municipality is connected with Banke district, while the western border is connected with Gulariya municipality. Similarly, the northern border of Badhaiyatal is connected with Bansgadhi Municipality and the southern border is connected with India.
