Place to visit in Bardiya

 Bardiya district is situated in Nepal's western region. It is well-known for the magnificent Bardiya National Park, the largest and most pristine national park in the Terai area of Nepal. With its vast expanse of 968 square kilometres, the park is home to an array of fauna, such as tigers, elephants, rhinoceroses, and more than 250 different types of birds.

The park's varied ecosystems, which include riverine forests, savannas, and grasslands, are what give rise to a wide variety of plants and animals. The park's biodiversity is further enhanced by the Karnali River, which also offers rafting and fishing opportunities.
