Dipayal Silgadhi Municipality

Dipayal Silgadhi is one of the municipalities among nine local governments in Doti districts. This municipality is in the central part of Doti. Moreover, It is the district headquarters of Doti. It was established in 3037 as Dipayal Nagar Panchayat. Later in 2046, Dipayal Nagar, Babar Danda and Tikha village development committees merged and created the Dipayal Silgadhi Nagarpalika. Similarly, in 2073, the firmer Kalena, Ladagada, Baglek (8,9), and Khatiwada (4, 5, 6) merged with Dipayal Silgadhi Municipality and formed the present structure of the municipality. 

There are nine ward offices in Dipayal Silgadhi Municipality. This municipality is spread over 268 square kilometres. Shaileshwori is a popular religious place here. The eastern border of Dipayal Silgadhi is connected with Purbichauki Gaupalika & Accham district. Moreover, Shikhar Municipality is in the western part of this municipality. Similarly, sourthern border is connected with K I Singh Rural Municipality. Additionally, the northern border is connected with Sayal & Adharsha Gaupalika.
